Hey again,

I know you messages me about this but I find it best to respond on here so other can read this info as well. On average I fertilize most of my passiflora once every two weeks with an all around fertz for fall and winter and a bloom of all around fertZ for spring and summer. Passifloras in the decaloba family seen to like only once a month bloom of all around fertz and my tasconia I fertilize every 3 weeks. This gets confusing but I keep a note book to help. I'm just trying to help others to understand that all passiflora differ and have different needs. To start as a rule just feed them once a month during the slow months and try every two of three weeks during the summer. That will keep them happy and with a little observation on your part you should be able to tell sooner or later wether it might fair better with a little more or less. Please keep in mind my fertilizer techs are my own and should only be followed if your willing to put the effort in. I can keep many of my plants flowering in my green house of house for most of the year. The average can be once a month and your passiflora should be more then happy Smile

Nick has a wonderful technique, and I wish I had the diligence to keep up with a regiment such as his. However, even with zero fertilizer, most Passiflora can still bloom and thrive. Keep in mind that you read what you sow, but even if you have little time and/or patience for a regimented fertilizing schedule you can still enjoy Passiflora.

All that being said, you should also consider that dependent on your water PH, medium, and fertilizer type, over-fertilizing can cause problems too. Light is better than heavy, though some can take more than others. Experiment, and have fun.
