New to Forum

Post by Willow87 on Sun Oct 24, 2010 6:16 pm

Hello my name is Cameron and I'm new to the group. I'm getting P. Incense and P. Incarnata. I had blue passionflower but it died a couple of years ago. I have really started to get into growing passion vines.

Welcome Cameron! Where are you growing your plants? Do you like to take photos of your plants? If so, please share! (there is a photo section on this forum as well as the Facebook Passiflora group).

Hi Shawn thank you. I'm in North Texas on the border of Zone 7b and 8a. I'm going to grow them in containers during winter. I will take some photos as soon as I get them today. The maypops grow wild here and I didnt even know they did lol. Thanks for welcoming to the group

You're welcome Cameron. I hear the University of Texas (not sure which campus) has an amazing Passiflora collection. As your collection grows, that may be a (local?) resource for you.
