Re: Pasiflora in Morocco
Hey Tropique,
Very nice picture. The photo above is passiflora 'crimson tears' a very complex hybrid from Roland fischer. It should smell rather sweet if im correct. I have only viewed this plant once in a private collection so I dont have any personal experience growing it, but its hard to forget a passi with such a colourful blush to it. Again my friend, I hope this helps out in some way or another.

Re: Pasiflora in Morocco
If you keep your house warm in the winter and have a window in your house that gets sun you can keep a lady margaret or many other passis flowering non-stop year round (with the right care and fertilizer) Also, I really like your new passiflora comparison pictures. I have been trying to take photo comparison of passiflora lately to try and give a wider idea of the true size of each compaired.

Re: Pasiflora in Morocco
Im sorry,
when I say non-stop flowering I mean most of the year. My passiflora might stop for a month in the very worst of winter and a few weeks in the hottest part of summer but other then that, most of the flowering passiflora I have flower 9-10 months out of the year(with exceptions to the hot house passiflora like alata, and giant grandilla exc.) The months they will hold fruit are different though. I can only really get good fruit crops in the spring-fall not really any fruit in the winter indoors other then every now and then. And the fruits take forever to rippen in the later seasons as well. As to exhausting the plants. with the right care and fertilizer I dont think that they care at all. Passiflora, for the most part, dont go dormant where they live and are use to having year aound growing seasons.
