Vines/Climbers
Good evening,
Is there an interest in discussing other groups of vines?

Christian,
Crystal and I grow many genera, and vines are among our favorites. We grow Aristolochia, Lapageria, Clematis, Thunbergia, and many more. As long as it has an interesting flower, we probably like it.
What would you like to talk about?

Yes. My interest in Passiflora some 15 years ago started because I had long been growing other vines. I still grow Bougainvillea, various Thunbergia and Ipomoea species (all in a heated conservatory) as well as a number of annual climbers outdoors (well they're annuals here in Southern England). I've often wondered about hybridising Thunbergia and the Ipomoeas, but have never tried.

I am a 'vines freak'! Obviously my first love is Passis and I have about 60 but I also have Hardenbergia, Thumbergias, Vigna Caracalla, Stephanotis (variegated leaf), Ipomoea Alba, Antigonum Leptopus, Gloriosa, Aristolochias, Cobea, Petrea Volubilis, various Jasmines, Asarina (and more that I forget) and at the moment have two seedlings doing well of Odontadenia macrantha which I believe are unique in Spain! I live in a small terraced house with a pocket handkerchief garden!
My other collections are Hoyas and Hibiscus but I am fascinated by anything that is a little out of the ordinary here.
